Few legends of antiquity are as well known as Jason and the Argonauts in the arduous quest in search of the Golden Fleece. It is through the snowy peaks between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, the lands now known as Georgia and Azerbaijan where the narrative took place.
It is these same lands that David Adams finds himself looking for looks as to the authenticity of the legend. Along the way, he finds little pieces of story come to life, in surprising ways. While he is not entirely dissuaded from his efforts, he does not leave in vain. The truth is never as romantic as the myth, but the actual history and reality is an adventure of its own.
