HIV is a major problem in Cambodia, where one third of the population lives below the poverty line. Yet, discrimination is rampant against those who suffer from the disease. Women suffer most from this, as they can’t get jobs due to lack of education opportunities in a male-dominated society.
Several charities have stepped up to address the issue. In this episode, viewers will get a first-hand account of what it is like to live with HIV, and witness the uplifting stories of those who’ve overcome the discrimination to carve a life for themselves and their children, with the help of these charities.
