A Train of Miracles

200450 mins

Lilian Cingo, a nurse and psychologist, created this humane train that offers health care to underprivileged families in South Africa. Since February 2004, "the train of miracles" has traveled to the most faraway areas of South Africa to examine, consult and cure poor children, adults and the elderly. For many families, the train is their only access to health care. In all, fifteen doctors (general practitioners, ophthalmologists, pediatricians, specialists in AIDS or dentists) ride the rails to volunteer their health care services.
