We begin in Transylvania, a country that has long been associated with the terrible Count Dracula. Bram Stoker’s novel about the blood-thirsty count made this country world renowned. However, we will focus on the country’s unusual culture, rather than a fantasy tale. Then we travel to the middle of the Irish Sea, to the Isle of Man, with a parliament established in 979. It is also the kingdom of herring fishing. Life here is filled with hard work and good times, all while respecting the legacy of the ancestors.
