Open Minds: Celestial Guidance for a Broken World with Daniel Raphael (September 2015)

Season 5, Episode 42
Available worldwide

Daniel Raphael offers guidance for returning the social aspect to sustainability in our global civilization. He explains that the proliferation of corporate policies which place profit over planetary protection means that our world is not being cared for in a sustainable way. If there is little hope that we can fix these problems ourselves, perhaps we may need some celestial guidance to help heal our broken world. This interview with Regina Meredith was originally webcast September 10, 2015.

Daniel Raphael Ph.D., author of Healing a Broken World, is an intuitive and clairvoyant who enjoys conscious clairaudient conversations with celestial beings. He is a holistic life coach, spiritual counselor, and spiritual team facilitator who has taught numerous classes and workshops worldwide related to the Urantia Revelation. Raphael holds a BS in Sociology, an MS in Education, and a Ph.D. in Metaphysics.

This episode took a weird turn at 40 minutes into it... I could not listen any more... I will for sure though later :-)

Awesome job and excellent questions Regina as always :-)

You shine such a brilliant light,

Hankii, I totally agree with you! At around the 40 minute mark, I did a double take of what I was hearing. I could hardly believe that he really believes that our Earth doesn't have the resources to support a population of 3-5 Billion! There is currently a lot of waste and unnecessary pollution right now that's detracting from the sustainability goal.

In addition, Daniel's 3 pillars of success needs to be reassessed. I strongly believe that perhaps we should do away with our financial system completely. In order to do that we need to rethink what we would like our society to be and how we should best live a fruitful life.

To me, the truest statement that came out of Daniel's mouth is that change has to begin with the individual. In the future, I'll know to steer clear of this individual. I have better things to do with my time.

I think Regina did a fantastic job as an interviewer. I only found her show today but I will be sure to watch more of her videos!

Yesterday I chose not to watch this episode due to its low ratings. Curious about this, however, and Open Minds being a show I've enjoyed for a while, today I re-read the synopsis and thought to myself that perhaps the low ratings mean it is a must-watch. Perhaps the guest brings up controversial points that need to be explored. Maybe he's doing such important work that he attracts shills or misplaced aggression. So, I skimmed the comments and saw things like "I can't stand the lip-smacking" which meant, yes, now I must watch it.

Having watched it just once I see that the concepts within it are abstract, truly controversial as well as large, making them difficult for anyone to articulate in less than an hour (after doing a bio); difficult to absorb, as well, especially with regards to our society feeling so polarized at this time. The guest's use of certain words like "sustainability" are quite unfortunate due to their association with a particularly draconian agenda that is quite likely linked with a so-called "elite" club or syndicate of sociopaths we're calling "The Cabal" or Illuminati. Bottom line, they are just a very old criminal syndicate and at their core, what appears to be a group of now completely inbred degenerates. This secretive group has been steering the narrative for perhaps thousands of years, calling the shots and exerting control over people we think we elect, utilizing all kinds of coordinated technolgies. This group also appears to be responsible for suppressing clean energy technologies for the last 100 years as well as orchestrating world wars, massive, immeasurable levels of suffering and pollution that altogether threatens the future of our planet as well as these pillars he speaks of. This group has been fairly hidden from the masses up until very recently, and many people are coming to this disclosure info through the work here on Gaiam. This particular guest doesn't really include any of this enormously relevant information. Perhaps I need to listen again. I may have missed it, but if correct, I do wonder if that is what is at the heart of the low ratings.

Most of us processing the difficult news regarding the wealthy sociopathic shot-callers are naturally shocked and angry, at times challenged with digesting the scope of this disturbing information and channelling the very normal energy of anger in a healthy way, one that doesn't include misplaced aggression because we at some level must understand that pitchforks and guillotines no longer apply. Many of us are frequently at a loss as to how to "forgive", what that even really means or how to stay in a place of love and light, a frame of reference of spirituality, which really does offer the options he speaks of. And with his experience as a counselor or coach, I do wonder if people who gave this episode such a low rating didn't tap into that vein of unprocessed anger.

Overall, I think this fellow has had an interesting life and experiences. I will be listening again to see if there is something that I missed.

I have been thinking about this interview and have come to the conclusion there are many entities on the other side and when they come through us into this dimension bringing messages they are crystal clear or muddy. This was not easily understood a couple of catch words used again and again without much grit in the explanation. After an hour of listening I cam away with "what did he really say?"

I tried to smack my mouth a few times just to see if it was natural. It is not natural, it is a body language that has deeper meaning. I wonder what that meaning is?

Regina: Appreciated your willingness to challenge your guest. Very refreshing.
Daniel: On the one hand you seem to be unaware of the fact that most of the people who control most of the world's money got that control through criminal activity. That means they're definition of "sustainability" is that they are in control of everyone else. On the other hand, I agree with you that the long term solution will only come with the spiritual maturation of the population, and that takes time, perhaps hundreds or thousands or millions of years. The problem is, the Illuminati are building a technological system of total domination that could be implemented in within 10 years or so. With the combination of bio-nano-tech and resonant energy weapons, they have the technology to subjugate and dominate individual's bodies and brains on very personal levels. Of course, spiritually, we are still children of God, but the Nazi scientists demonstrated that with enough torture they can break almost anybody, and their methods have become much more sophisticated since then. So is seems unlikely that the population's spiritual maturation will happen in time to stop that. We may need some kind of higher intervention to get out of that trap. However, one of my spiritual teachers once told me that a lot of growth happens in that period we call "the nick of time". So, we'll see.

Bioedjc, posted on September 14, 2015

Am I hearing threats? We fix this or we will have huge earth eruptions. Is this what he is channeling? I would question his guides. I was thinking about the Georgia Guide Stones when he was talking about population control. I believe old paradigms no longer work. We are creative. Hopefully we are waking up. I don't know about him.. I know Regina is most knowledgable. She knows.

but couldn't discern a coherent applicable message that you could take and run with. he needs to focus and come up with some real value for people to sink their teeth into. If we want change i think we are going to have to get beyond the money slave system and form real actual physical communities with the values we hold. that's the bottom line. ubuntu anyone?

I don't mean the communes of the sixties that were really about escapism. i mean build pockets of service to others physical communities that work materially and spiritually to supply everyone's basic needs. we have to start running experimental community projects. maybe at first on a limited basis but then develop a database of what works and what doesn't. share that opensource. if we keep playing the same annunaki game they win. money selfishness, dog eat dog, that's our current system. we need to face it.

how about a tv show where people make a service to others community on gaiam TV but instead of backstabbing they cooperate and use higher spiritual values to make things work. maybe it's a kickstarter....for funding...

jaysapien, posted on September 12, 2015

I must have watched a different interview. What I got from it is that change starts with the individual, and the individual currently has a great many options to effect that change as they see fit on a personal and local level. It's a message of self-empowerment. Maybe Daniel is necessarily vague so as to honor the free will of the audience.

If necessary, the population could be reduced to sustainable levels within a generation purely by voluntary decisions not to procreate, which is already happening anyway. There would be no need for a eugenics-type program. All that would be needed is for people to recognize the need and to ethically and compassionately choose not to procreate. It would be a personal choice. If there is a need in the first place. We don't have enough reliable information to make that determination at this time.

There is a lot of unpleasantness we as individuals and nations are going to have to stare in the face, forgive, accept, and heal. It's how we grow as individuals and as a species.

Meredith, it was evident on your face how you felt about this interview. In all fairness to Daniel, what I saw and heard was a person with a mild head injury having trouble getting his thoughts across clearly and expressing his feelings appropriately. Most of what Daniel talked about has been voiced by others and his perspective might have been interesting if he could have articulated it more clearly. Meredith, I think you could see this and knew at some point that there was little you could do in the space of time you had to help him explain himself to the viewers. I agree that discernment is always needed, with every guest. That said, we don't yet know all the answers or what is to come. What we are coming to realize is that we are directly connected to the planet and our thoughts and words and actions affect the Earth's vibration. To keep the negative forces at bay and maintain a higher vibration of peace and love we must have compassion, love and empathy for our fellow man. My heart goes out to him and to you, too. Bravo Meredith for giving it your best shot. - Jane

Jane: Thank you for your thoughtful, insightful and caring post. I completely agree with you and was taken aback by some of the unnecessarily negative critical comments posted here. At the same time I do understand that someone who has not been exposed to persons with closed head injuries and is unfamiliar with the verbal and emotionally expressive difficulties of those who have been so affected, Daniel's presentation might have been a bit confusing and frustrating. At times it took very careful listening for me to follow what Daniel was trying to get across, but with patience and Meredith's helpful clarifications and summaries, I took away an interesting and hopeful message for humanity. I look forward to reading Daniel's book.

This interview gave me a headache. I found the format very difficult to follow – from my perspective, Daniel Raphael was jumping all over the place and it was difficult to understand the logic and intention of his thinking and philosophy. I could see that Regina was really trying to establish some consistency in her line of questioning, although for the most part she was not successful. I’m still trying to figure out what the point of this interview was. Three pillars/values? Where do celestials come into this? They are looking for people who are open to receive Options??? Beings on the other side are looking for open people Also a bit of fear-mongering ----Advent of cataclysms - haven’t experienced much tectonic problems - these are natural developments and they are building up again. Dear Regina – all of your interviews that I have watched have been informative, inspiring and educational – this one however was very perplexing.

Regina is brilliant. I believe this gentleman to be very misguided. He seems a puppet who is unwittingly trying to create his own NWO. His intent at the onset of this path of his may have been pure but the deceivers lured him with fanciful notions that fed his "God complex". I wonder if he will ever read these comments and take a moment to re-think his sources. With so many years believing this, I doubt it. (surrounding him in the light of truth as we speak) When full disclosure occurs, he and his beliefs will be a puff of smoke....Many blessings to all. Stay grounded and keep the BS radar on "full throttle"!

I think Daniel should re-tune and find other channels, if you will excuse the pun :-).
Every single molecule on this earth is here because Source has intended it to be. Gaia too is a true mother and she nurtures every person, animal, plant and insect lovingly and EQUALLY. Numbers are never an issue for her.
I feel that Daniel's naïveté is being sequestered and he is totally unaware of how he is being used. Watching him dig a very very deep hole for himself during this interview was painful. Fortunately for us and unfortunately for him, he is delivering a very skewed message to an audience who are extremely discerning and whose antennae will instantly pick up anything dodgy that doesn't authentically represent, or honestly seek to establish, THE Truth.
Regina, you are a true professional. Although Daniel's message makes no sense at all, you managed this interview beautifully - though I imagine this was a difficult task. However, it is better to know that people like Daniel are amongst us, trying to cover Truth with fallacies and are negatively influencing those new to Truth seeking. We can learn much from messages like his, become even more discerning and find effective ways to encourage those who are hurt by these messages towards a more loving and inclusive evolution where they matter as unique individuals.

Shortly into this interview, my thoughts went to a remark Corey Good made during one of the Cosmic Disclosure episodes. He said the (shadow) government has a program called "The Mind of God" which they can use to make people think they are channeling a higher being. But it's just the cabal influencing others on a subtle level to their agenda. So yes, I saw red flags too during this interview. Especially at minute 32 when the topic of who would be allowed to have children came up - needing to be a trained parent to essentially indoctrinate their children appropriately. Regina asked who would the arbiter of that information, and he laughed nervously and said it was an excellent question, but never really answered it.

Regina, your incredible ability of an interviewer was so apparent during this hour. While I didn't resonate with very much of the information Daniel presented, I very much enjoyed how you handled the interaction. You're amazing!

mariearmstrong, posted on September 11, 2015

over population does need to be addressed no matter which side of the court youre on. whether you are an elitist, or impoverished. this will never be addressed until women are given power over their bodies. in the beginning nature looked after the balance. but in many places on the planet we are beginning to control life and death, but women still are puppy mills even in the modern world. they have been raised, and trained to be a puppy mill for so many millennia, its actually quite impossible to go against the old tradition. what if? women had full control over their bodies. 100% control over their own bodies has never been recorded in history. but what if? what if females were raised to voice their deepest feelings and desires and execute their greatest theories. and her body is her own. she decides when and if a child comes. she is educated from birth to feel what she wants and needs. this is a new concept. but its also a solution to population control, which is the beginning of intelligent survival on earth. i also think it will grow exponentially from this theory onward, to a more positive planet, which brings me to my next subject...

its a nice concept by Daniel to describe that the more we, as a social group, adhere to more positive thinking, the more we avoid global catastrophes that are well meaning events that naturally cleanse the planet. we may have the power in our minds to control events of the universe. its a massive theory, but a very very lovely one. and i think do-able. so i say the first step is to re-define "equality". give women their power back. and let the rest take its course.

OMG you asked him over and over to address specific topics and he just went on stating the obvious and lecturing to you about stuff that you and I already know. Outrageously passive aggressive. I am 44 minutes into the program and he hasn't even begun speaking about the material that he has "recieved." I am not a violent person, but I want to reach into the tv and shake him!!! This is the worst guest I have ever seen on your show. I do love your interviews and subject matter and the vast majority of your guests, so I will be back next week. I hope he reads these comments and comes to the realization that he is entirely too full of himself to be doing anyone any good. Again, I am sorry for you. I did watch the entire interview and though I’m not usually compelled to comment on these interviews I got a subtle Agenda 21 vibe from this speaker.

If the Earth will survive no matter what human beings choose to do on it (which is a universally agreed-upon truth at this point), then making grand proclamations about the human race and what to do about “its numbers” is just fear-mongering. The systems that are pushing memes like “sustainability” and “displacement” have little regard for humanity, but care a great deal about grabbing resources and lands for their empires.

31:00 “If there’s no people then the Earth would heal itself.”
38:00 “What sustains you must sustain others. The trouble we have in our culture is there’s too many people.”

This are textbook Agenda 21 memes.

“Displacement” is being driven by empire, and previously nationalistic peoples who are naturally altruistic are being forced into giving up their lands (places like Sweden, Estonia, etc.) to forced immigration populations (problem, reaction, solution), that is severly de-stabilizing their economies and their cultural identity.

I recommend that you who stopped, watch it to the end. Yes, it was a choppy interview, but as with everything take what you can use and leave the rest. I found this compelling, it came at the end and I am quoting him, with a bit of comment of my own. Your thoughts? Here it is: "There is no miracle but there is help. It is up to us. It is not our problem because this world in an incubator of new souls and the quality of souls crossing back over /returning to source/needs to improve. A lot of people return or cross back over and say “I’ve had enough, I am not going to move forward (from inertia, complacence,? overwhelmed?), and that’s the end of it. What we lose when they do this, is their experience, because this is all about bringing experience back to the source. The first source is perfect but it is incomplete and we are not bringing back anything to complete it. The thing that god lacks, is experience. God is perfect, but is not living, so it needs to live through us. We are doing it a disservice. Only when we strive to improve ourselves and others, can we add that experience which becomes part of the Matrix."

Regina, your questions to him were so coherent and I waited eagerly to hear his answers ... eventually I gave up the hope that a straight answer would ever show up. I was thinking of trying again, but thought I'd read these posts first (besides, I find a lot of great humor in these posts). CB_TW, you have spared me slogging through the last half-hour of his rambling. Sometimes people are better at book writing than public speaking and perhaps this is what occurred here. Your summary is intriguing and I wish that could have come across more clearly at the start of the interview and expanded upon and discussed in a more understandable way.

Any info that generates negativity or fear is not from Angels, God, or any Spiritual Being

I felt this interview got off to a good start with the questions about religion that puzzle many children. Shortly thereafter, however, I it appeared to me that Daniel seemed nervous and that what he wanted to say wasn't coming out smoothly. I kept waiting for the flow to smooth out but that didn't happen. Halfway through the interview I stopped watching.

I did take note that his early ontological experience of religion seems to be playing out in the development of a system that might spare children such trauma. Powerful stuff when we first get a hint that the world can be unsafe.

Regina, you did an excellent interview but I am not convinced of the utility of the Urantia foundation for new worlds. I don't believe that I have responded in this manner previously but my channeling experience is more along the lines of less competition with increased emphasis on creativity and personal excellence along with increased interdependence within communities... a preparedness for communing with beings/entities beyond earth and more. There was/is emphasis on Love and the joy of service. Thank you for sharing your own wisdom which you are uniquely able to do.
