Because the first years of life are so crucial to a child’s growth and development, greening your lifestyle is one of the most important things you can do for your baby. Learn how to protect your baby by avoiding all kinds of dangerous ingredients and pollutants – from the foods you eat if you’re breastfeeding, and the first foods you feed your child, from natural products for body-care and your baby’s skin, safe cleaning products (including many you can create easily at home), and how to shop for non-toxic toys. With Growing Green Babies, you’ll find out how to make safe and sensible choices for your child. Hosted by eco-lifestyle expert Sara Snow, creator of two TV series for Discovery networks – Living Fresh and Get Fresh with Sara Snow.

Thank you, it is a good educational film. I would love to hear more about mothers who have breastfed for a month only and then their milk stops. What would be the healthiest alternative to mother's milk?

This is probably a little late of a response, but re-lactation is possible. Adoptive mothers who have never lactated before can, with effort and support, breastfeed their babies. Also, goat's milk is a great alternative to formula. It is hypo-allergenic, and from what I understand, very close to human breast-milk. I am not a doctor, but I am a mother who has been breastfeeding successfully for 6 months with no end in sight. Please do your own research and talk to your pediatrician. I hope this helps you!
