Part 1: David Darling, founder of Music for People, miraculously and humorously helps people make music, even if you can't carry a tune. For those who have only played other people's music, he is a master of helping you forget your inhibitions, come out of yourself, and reveal the musician you're born to be. You don't need a desire to be professional to tap your talent. A classical cellist himself, David uses group collaboration techniques such as 'sing what you play and play what you sing' to emotionalize pieces for people, offering a way for them to get comfortable with inhabiting the sound they're expressing.

Part 2: Al Huang's embodiment is the epitome of spirit in action. Just the way he moves, speaks, and laughs with so much joy will wake you up and make you feel more alive. Once you begin to trust the body as the most important instrument for cultivating awareness in tune with the outside world, then you truly begin to learn. When the body is natural you do wonderful things. Raised in China, and living in the west, he teaches all over the world, synthesizing the philosophies of east and west through the body which is universal.

David Darling is a virtuoso. "Play what you sing, and sing what you play," he teaches his students. Fabulous advice.
