Rick, Nice pace! Good verbal cues. Flow and pranayamas at the beginning were energizing but not too much. Overall very relaxing! Thanks!

I almost cried at the beginning, too, but I figured that was a good thing. I feel better than when I started. Thank you, Rick.

The last restorative pose made me feel a little better, but the fierce breathing practices at the beginning made me want to cry.

Redhotyogi, posted on March 24, 2013

great teacher, great class! I feel really calm and centered. Thank you!

Thank you for enabling me to get back to yoga practice!
I hit a lull with too much stress and too much anxiety (including nightmares during early morning hours).
What is generally on the market for depression is either at a level higher than even the active vinyasa practice I cobbled together for myself, or much too sleepytime yoga-ish. (And I'm 58 years old with a bad knee!) Enter the one practice that fills the gap. Nicely.

I hope there is a version that is at least an hour long soon.

Nidette, posted on July 30, 2012

Thank you so much...this really helps, I feel calmer, centered, hope it lasts! thanks for your help Rick :)

I feel so much more peaceful. This is a very effective class and doesn't require a lot of time to feel a lot better.

LauraJRobertson, posted on May 28, 2012

I have been feeling stressed and down for the past few days, and this practice made me feel much better. Thank you!

mrenkow, posted on January 31, 2012

This was a fabulous class! I took it not for the depression aspect, but because I enjoy Rick's style of teaching. I really liked holding the two poses at the end for five minutes each. You need a rolled up towel or soft bolster for this class. My body and mind thank you!

Sarah1984, posted on September 5, 2011

I'm going to try and do this practice regularly... there is actually a lot of research evidence that the breathing exercises in this video are hugely effective for depression

Great for relieveing stress and anxiety. I'd like to see a longer video as well. But for this time, I added Padma's Anxiety Meditation video and the combination was just what I needed to put an end to the anxiety I was feeling today. Thank you, Rick!
