Chair Yoga
Try yoga with the support of a chair for an accessible practice with all the benefits of mat-based yoga without the strain on joint mobility. Chair yoga is wonderful for those with mobility limitations, seniors, anyone recovering from an injury, and office workers. Active chair yoga and gentle chair yoga may mean sitting in a chair for the duration of practice, or standing and using the chair as a prop to explore stretches and strengthening poses. Plan to have a sturdy, armless chair available for practice.
