The Lost Secret of Immortality (2011)

Available worldwide

The Lost Secret of Immortality explores the evolution of consciousness and the ultimate potential of humanity. It showcases a diverse range of vehicles for enlightenment such as the alchemical quest for the philosopher's stone to tantric sex and martial arts, all with a gentle narration that can be understood by a complete novice.

To enter the tao and experience enlightenment is to answer the question: What was your original face before your mother and father were born? Is the illusion of everlasting life merely an illusion meant to shield you from the truth about death? Or is there proof that immortality is real? What secrets are hidden in spiritual traditions about life after death?

For thousands of years, the spiritual quest of the human race has been to discover the true self – the eternal light of the kundalini. At last, from the wisdom of enlightened teachers, you can discover your true nature, which is far more powerful than you have ever imagined. You can achieve the ultimate dream. You can unlock the secret to who you really are. You can open the hidden door to discover the genius within you. You can achieve enlightenment and realize your ultimate potential.

The only person interviewed in this program, which is largely about eastern mystical/spiritual traditions was a Catholic priest with a PhD in Buddhist studies. Any other background was a vague generalization of various methods and traditions, sometimes the word "kundalini" was identified with practice traditions that don't even use that word. Still, visually entertaining, inspiring.

This is a beautifully done work that will open your mind more along your path. I do wish others had been interviewed though & was a bit perplexed as to why a Christian priest was explaining Bhuddist philosophy. However, it was so well done that I managed to mostly overlook this though I think in retrospect the director should have brought more balance to the film by having Bhuddists speak for themselves.

I bet western beings will wake up a bit differently, as I did. I saw the sun and the sun exploded on top of my head, I see rainbow clouds often and take pictures of it. I have never meditated in my life. Understanding what happens after awakening is far more interesting, Would be better to hear testimony from present awaken beings.

I enjoyed the did what I would hope any such film to do, and that is it stimulated me into asking more of the "Big Questions". By way of such practice and patiently listening inwardly, I have been led more and more of my personal truth and awareness...which is all I could ask from any experience.

Thank you for the contribution. Was a great introduction but with claiming such an epic title, a lot more details could have been covered
Only one person is interviewed throughout the entire film, and the narrator has a little too much of a "matter of fact" tone in his narration - unable to vocally deliver the essence of his message.
Otherwise, thank you for illuminating some of the breadcrumbs that lay around us so we may follow them to the source of the wisdom teachings

I was hoping to see Leonard Orr get interviewed at the least, but instead all I saw was one persons opinion of a "Lost Secret of Immortality". I suggest to whom ever is truly interested in learning techniques to achieving Immortality and to read about living Immortals on Earth, read the book "Breaking the Death Habit" by Leonard Orr.
As for sexual yoga, a phenomenal book "Sexual Energy and Yoga" by Elisabeth Haich, will detail this subject beyond anything this film has even tried to. She introduced Hatha yoga to Europe back in the 30's, but was kicked out by Hitler, so she moved to Switzerland. She left a very high spiritual based comprehension within her many books.
May the road to Immortality begin now.

We were disappointed in this pleasant film. We were hoping for something stimulating. It had interesting images and a few good quotes, but it was simply an overview of beliefs about enlightenment.
