Clara Roberts-Oss shares the sequence taught to her by martial arts teacher, Constantine Darling, creator of Chien Lung. This class will contain similarities to a vinyasa sequence, but with an emphasis on undulations. This vigorous flow will move us through many different planes within one cycle. We will begin with pranayama from this lineage and move through more classic sun salutations to warm the body. This style of yoga practice will give you awareness of breath and insight into your own body.

Do not do twists if you are pregnant. This class is a challenging and intense vinyasa flow practice that will raise your heart rate and challenge your body and mind.

Thanks for the class, I did however, find it hard to focus on the movements with the instructor and yet do the exercises correctly. Maybe more on the teacher and less on everyone in the class. =]

I have been a student of Wing Chun for about a year now under a sifu. The mixture of kung fu (including these wushu or animal forms) and yoga is something alot of the best martial art teachers do with their classes. The two celestial dragon videos in this series are amazing and a really good workout. Great teacher.

I don't get the criticism below, I teach creative vinyasa flow myself and it can be really hard work instructing totally new poses and combinations of poses to a class because people can only take in a few instructions at a time, so you have to stop and occasionally demo. feeling frustrated during a class is usually a sign there's something else in your life causing you stress if it wasn't you'd be able to have the patience to just take the benefit of being shown something completely new and appreciate that. I thought this was a wonderful creative practice thanks

It's so frustrating because this class, the postures and sequencing, are so amazing and beneficial, but the instructor falls short on the delivery, to say the least... I can't count how many times she said, " I see I've lost you", to the class - and the reason for that is because the instructor quickly blurts out the steps to the asana sequence so quickly and then just stops suddenly and wonders why no one got it... If I could offer a few suggestions and this is because I literally had to force myself to finish this class because I know that the poses and what is trying to be taught here is good for me, so I finished- but it shouldn't be that way and students shouldn't have to struggle to follow the instructor so much so that the instructor even acknowledges it several times during the practice. Rather than take the time to change the way she is calling out the cues so quickly and choppy, she has to stop the class to demonstrate, which stops the flow...even the demonstrations are rushed through. I do agree that the instructor has a wealth of knowledge to share and the material she is trying to present is good- but the presenter needs some more training on how to instruct a class. Im being honest about my experience with this video and this instructor and hope that she will take it into consideration so I can enjoy taking her classes on MYO without getting lost and frustrated. Have a great day and Namaste~

It is so beautiful to witness sun salutations done with the unique dance, expression and emotion of each person. Thank you Clara for creating a sacred space for us to explore our own inner sun!

I usually don't like yoga classes that incorporate other forms of exercise, but this was amazing. I also liked that it was definitely a challenging routine, but in an all new way. Very special practice!
