Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain our Shopify e-commerce platform to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement visually appealing and user-friendly features on the website.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times, smooth navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
- Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance website functionality and streamline business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website functionality, performance, or user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce web development, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Shopify web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
- Experience with Shopify theme customization, app integration, and API integration.
- Knowledge of web design principles and user experience best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- U.S. citizenship or an existing work visa is required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques for e-commerce websites.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
