Sat Nam, Kia! Thank you so much for this wonderful meditation. Right from the moment you tuned in with the Adi Mantra I knew it will be a great meditation! I loved it and I feel very calm and ready for another busy day! I also enjoyed the version of the long time sun! Your voice is wonderful!!!! Sat Nam! God bless you!

I love this but for some reason my player freezes a lot with this particular video, and I have to hit refresh and start over, etc... I have never bee able to get through it without a problem which interferes with the meditation. Is this just me? This does not happen with other programs.

@CATENKA - We are sorry for any inconvenience. Someone from our Customer Service department will be in contact with you.

Thank you, Kia~ I feel like a new person. The song at the end gave me new life after a hard day.

Dear Kia, Thank you from the cold (18 degrees) but sunny banks of the Wapahani river. This is the first morning with sun in (2) weeks. I also tossed in a few minutes of alternate nostril breathing. Your lovely meditation and song at the end, found me smiling in a sweet spot. Thanks again. JayW

@Hyena The finger positions do make a difference. However if it is too uncomfortable for you, simply sit with your hands on your knees, palms up. Many blessings, Kia

Hyena, posted on February 26, 2014

Calming. I am new to attempting meditation. What is the significance of the finger positions? I found the thumb to middle little finger uncomfortable, and am wondering if it makes a difference if I chose other finger positions or simply keep my hands on my knees.

I'm having trouble with the videos playing through. They start and stop continuously. What do I need to do to get my videos to play? I'm connecting with my iPad 2 onto my tv.
I would surely appreciate your help.
Best regards,

With gratitude for your gifts you're sharing. Namaste. Donna, Wisconsin

Hi strawberry and jessyh; hand mudras came to be when yogis mapped out hand areas and their associated reflexes. Each area of the hand is connected to a certain area of the brain or body--depending on nerves, meridians, etc. Surya mudra utilizes the ring finger--symbolized by the Sun or Uranus--representing healthy and energy, nerve strength and intuition. Hope that helps! Much love

Hi Jessyh,
Your comment about confidence inspired me to try this video. Yes - definitely intense for the upper body - I had an almost numb feeling in some of my fingers at times. I certainly feel transformed, almost as though the frequency inside or around me has changed. Much more clarity now, and presence. Would also love to know more about how this meditation works and what the hand positions are doing exactly?

JessyH, posted on January 21, 2012

I like this. It's the third time I've done it this week. The first two times I wsn't able to hold my hand up for so long but I just brought it down, shook it out and then went back to the mediation. This time I didn't notice. Like everything else you just have to keep at it and it gets easier! The mudras really seem to have an effect on my energy and I do seem to feel more confident after doing it. Can anyone explain why that is so?

Mikaii, posted on December 9, 2011

Not a fan. Holding hand up was akward, and more guidance is nice during a meditation. Didn't finish video :(

tinesand, posted on December 9, 2011

Holding my hand up for so loooong, just made my muscles cramp. Sorry... This one did'nt work for me.

GIANGEET, posted on December 4, 2011

very nicely done! thank you. I encourage you to post more kundalini meditations, kriyas & full classes, there's only a few, and too much of the others. this is real yoga, where all yoga comes from, and this is exactly what we all need in this times of stress and violence all over. again, gracias, Sat Nam!

to 333brooklyn - there will be more 'active' Kundalini meditations coming. This is a simple one that can be done anywhere by anyone. To voxmeow- the mantra is ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO : I bow to the Infinite Creative Consciousness, I bow to the teacher within. Or another translation " I bow to the Divine Spark within all things" - Blessings, Kia

voxmeow, posted on November 26, 2011

Could you please put up the mantra you are chanting? I can follow and participate if I can read it first. Thank you.

naturalyogini, posted on November 25, 2011

Thank you for a kundlini yoga meditation. But I was hoping for a more active ky meditation. There are lots of them, ie. 3 part meditations with mantra and movement. Those meditations are what make ky meditations so unique.

Hi BalanceandBreath,
The background sounds in this video are crystal bowls. They are often used in meditation, savasana, healing and sound therapies.
One thing to note: were you listening on your computer speakers? This makes a big difference, the quality of what you listen on.
