Cultivating the Moon: Deep Stillness and Healing Power

Available worldwide

Activation of the lunar force invokes the power of steadiness, immovable resolve, and the qualities of self-knowing. In this practice with Rod Stryker, we’ll stalk the inner moon and invoke its nurturing and sublime forces through a powerful, yet deeply soothing asana, pranayama, and meditation sequence for body and mind. Through experience and some theory, you'll cultivate the forces that lead to calm in the midst of turbulence and that awaken peace, intuition, and courage.

Thank you so much. I really got a view of myself and what I want to work on. I'm defiantly that goofy yoga practicing person. I'm working on that now. It puts some people off, however some of that is just me. I found some parts of that where a bit scary though, and What up with the song form out of nowhere within the confines of my mind. I was feeling bad then indifferent and this sexy song came from the lad of nowhere. lol maybe it was my hubby's snoring that invoked it ? There is so much I still don't inner-stand yet... but its all good because it will talk me where I'm going any way :)

I love the way there is plenty of warm up and slow conscious breathing cues throughout the poses- this practice is great because you feel so very calm and centered during some pretty intense postures and Rod has an amazing way of peppering the pose with philosophy, giving you the subtle encouragement needed to sustain. To incorporate this class into my personal practice, I plan to practice each month on the new and full moon to really cultivate the moon energy. Today is the new moon in Gemini and I just completed the practice again and it just keeps getting better! Many thanks Rod for sharing your immense knowledge and reminding us yogis the importance of having a wise progression in our yoga practice- Namaste~

Nice, but best to do this AFTER a more active practice as it goes right into reverse trikonasana and rev ardha chandrasana in very beginning.
