Let's Fly: Intermediate Vinyasa Practice

Available worldwide

We've removed some of the most advanced postures in Clara's Let's Fly practice, to offer a more intermediate level version of this practice. Still quite challenging, minus some of the more challenging inversions and some of the deeper backbends, this class will set you a flight. Arm balances with deep hip openers will not only connect you deeper to you core but also give you the sense of flying. Come play!

Great class. Thanks! Is it possible to go a little slower though? I felt like I was kind of rushing to catch up... But overall, a great class.

this felt awesome, got my sweat on with a nice hippy ending.
one question though about the hip/groin area; I definitely feel a lot of sensation after this one and while I wouldn't say it is painful it's not necessarily comfortable either. is this normal? it's almost like a shaky unstable sort of feeling. i also often experience dizziness and very brief blackout sensations at times.
i'm fairly new to this and realize my breathing isn't always where it needs to be. any advice is much appreciated!
love you Clara! ;)

I used to frequently nearly blackout at the beginning of my practise (the entire first year, would get a very narrow field of vision and have to concentrate on a point to remain upright), I just modified asanas to bring my head up slower, usually pausing at the half way mark and allowing myself to get out of sync with the video. It always seemed to happen when I was bringing my head up or looking back. I have low blood pressure but now almost four years into my yoga practise, I haven't experienced the dizziness or tunnel vision in a very long time. I am not a teacher but I think maybe your hip sensation of shakiness is just it opening; so long as there is no sharpness or intense burning. I get that feeling when I am able to push my edge farther. Hope you can find some value in what I said and keep going safely.

My friends!

Just wonder if this is a good one for my morning practice?

I love all of Clara's videos. Let's Fly is challenging but with a controlled, manageable escalation. Clara's careful instructions make the brisk pace a breeze to follow. I always feel strong, accomplished, open, and at east after this practice. And, it's fun! Now, a technical glitch: Hi gaiamtv: this video freezes up for me at about the 33 minute mark and along the way the video and sound quality waver, getting occasionally blurry and muffled. Does it need a tune up? Thanks!

Feeling so much release and clarity on this new moon winter solstice after this flow. Thank you Clara, for always using your words and knowledge to help others through their own personal practice. Namaste all.

That's a great flow. Excellent sequencing that really helped me go further and do more than I thought I could. Can't wait to do it again, thank you so much Clara - I love your instruction and the tone!

I was feeling grouchy, spring snowstorm and a cold, started this and wanted more warm up but Clara did it again and soon I was toasty warm getting loose in all the tight places. Great flow and new poses I don't do much. Feel amazing and no more stuffy nose. Thanks Clara

Clara is a great teacher! love this video. Need to work on arm balances so this is perfect.

7BessyT, posted on May 13, 2013

I was blown away by this flow. Some of the arm balances I didn't think was possible for me to do and yet you led me right into them. Granted they weren't pretty but for the first time I could feel the lightness in them! Thank you so much for your beautiful uplifting class.

Thank you, Clara. I loved it. I couldn't do some of the poses due to knee issues, but what I could do, I loved!

so fun! i can't really do arm balances yet or inversions, but i'm at a point in my practice where i need more challenge and this really provided it. hopefully i'm a step closer to flying! Clara you are really great at sequencing, I can't find a better teacher than you on here!

My new favorite, a wonderful flow, thank you Clara, you make my day :)

Great sequencing, feels great! Not for beginners, not really a whole lot of modifications given, especially for knee issues.

AmandaRuffini, posted on November 25, 2012

Amazing! Completely wonderful! Any soreness or tension I woke up with is now gone! Although I couldn't do Dragonfly or hold Shoulder Stand the whole time, I feel rejuvinated nonetheless! You are so blessed Clara, Namaste

Such a gorgeous but challenging flow! It was a wonderful practice for releasing the ego and working through resistance. I always want to rush ahead, not wanting to work for growth but to be there already. This flow reminded me to cherish and enjoy this growth in myself, and enjoy the exploration.

Hi Clara!!Thank you so much for your reply!! I'm still navigating around this site haha..trying to find my way around. I'll give your suggestions a try soon and let you know. Thank you again!!

clararobertsoss, posted on April 29, 2012

Hey Ying,
Two things might help your back knee in reverse warrior. The first would be to engage the inner thighs more. do this by drawing your heels towards each other energetically until you feel your inner legs light up. the other is rotating your back toes either closer and further from your front foot. play with both and let me know how it goes.

Ying, posted on April 27, 2012

Very challenging and fun class!! Thanks Clara!! But whenever I do reverse warrior, it puts a great strain on my back knee. And if I try not to lean back too much so that my back knee wouldn't hurt, I don't feel any stretch at all. Is there anything I can do to improve on this pose? Thank you!

I'd love to try this video out but it comes up all pixeled and choppy-is that just on my computer or is it a problem with the video in general?
