Tantra: The Practice (2016)

Episode 4
Available worldwide

It is said that deep tantric meditation is a natural practice, but it has to be learned. There is a pathway inside us we need to locate in a certain way, and one of the roles of a teacher of meditation is to guide us to orient ourselves in the right way for a current to flow along that pathway. The essence of meditation is the journey of exploration of those interior spaces of consciousness.

Paul Muller-Ortega Ph.D. offers a short (three-minute) practice, called “amrita guru,” that anyone can do for themselves. It is a practice of aligning inside our own awareness a place of wisdom, a place of guidance, a place of inspiration. This is one of the practices that can help us turn to our inner wisdom for response to such questions as: Where am I supposed to go? What am I supposed to do? How can I choose? How can I make the right direction for my life?

Paul Muller-Ortega Ph.D.

Love this new series. Like finding my compass, my way back home from a long, tedious, convoluted maze of confusion. Thank you. Dr. Muller-Ortega, for reminding me (practice). It's been so simple and effortless all along. Namaste.

A year so so ago it was suggested to me that meditation was the next step to take for a more enlightened life. I have not started meditating seriously as yet. This presentation has given me the context of why meditation is important; one more step in the process. The practice is the place for me to start.

Paul explained eloquently the reasons why and how meditation is an important choice in a persons life for the person as an individual and in the transformation of consciousness occurring in the world today.
