I had the shittiest day feeling uncomfortable in my skin, beating myself up over stuff and then i just took this class and realized that there was a lot to be wrung out! Suddelny surrounded only with opportunity, kindness and forgiveness!

Is this class safe to do at 11 weeks pregnant. I am an experienced yogi, but have heard mixed things about twists. I notice only a few of the classes on this site say contraindicated if pregnant. If they do not say that, can I assume they are safe to do if pregnant??

Thank you!

I love how MC moves in slow motion with thorough detail while maintaining playfulness and fairy-like connection.

Fab class, had not practiced for awhile, certainly encouraged right back into it!

very creative class! I would have liked to have more balance between the standing and heart opening postures and more yin/grounding poses at the end to enable the energy created to be integrated. With some of my own closing postures, I created a well-balanced class. Thanks for your inspiration.

great class! my legs will def be feeling it later. loved the beautiful playful flow and style meghan brings to her practice. Reminds me to have and not take yoga so seriously :)

I haven't been practicing for over a year and I wanted to come back, and I found this so challenging yet so sweet and delicious.. Thank you so very much! I will be returning to this class!!!

Thank you for this Meghan. I've been feeling out of touch with my practice for a couple of weeks, but this got me back on track - love your teaching. Namaste

Megan! I loved this... Perfect amounts of sweat and delicious. 80 minutes that seemed like a snap. More!

I absolutely loved the sequencing - however, I will admit that it sounded like the speaking speed was at 1.5x or even 2x faster than normal- the cues where great but they were delivered so fast- so quickly.

Would love to see more full-length classes from Meghan! Far from childish, I find her style metaphorically sophisticated, expressive, creative, fiery and real (and I'm probably twice her age).

I've taken classes with Meghan and this studio class is truly her personality and how she teaches. If you, energieyoga, would rather not have the "yoga dialog", it's easy enough for you to pick other teachers. I know many students of Meghan's, including me, finds that her positivity adds to my practice.

energiayoga, posted on December 10, 2012

@maggiesarebest Thanks for the advice. That sounds exactly like something they'd teach you to say in teacher training.

maggiesarebest, posted on December 5, 2012

@energiayoga Take what you like, and leave what you don't. I am a teacher and I find that bright imagery works really well for a lot of people. Focus on your practice and don't allow the languaging to detract from it., posted on December 3, 2012

Thanks Meghan. I really enjoyed this class and I very much felt like I was back in Vancouver in the Kits studio with you. It was challenging, but not so much that I give up at home. Thanks!

energiayoga, posted on November 20, 2012

This class felt really, really good, & the teacher has a great asana practice herself, we realy need to hear all the cheesy yoga dialogue? This would be great for kids but do adults need to hear: 'Sprinkle the fingers, peel the whatever, head heavy like a coconut, shake it out like a rug, look at the floor lovingly, flutter your lips, like we're riding down the rapids, draw the stars to your heart, ginger ale bubbles, drink the universe???' I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. You're a good teacher, you don't need to say all this rubbish, especially, 'let go of whatever is not serving you.'

This was challenging, yet the attitude was light. Thanks Meghan!

Thanks for this one, Meghan. Challenging and detoxifying. And thanks for the reminder that this moment is unique and there will never be any other like it. That used to be my mantra, and You´ve kindly brought me back to it :D Namaste

wow-that was pretty intense. The poses aren't very advanced, but it's fierce and cleansing. Nice sequences.

If you like a very intense, fast practice, almost all standing poses, and lots of donkey kicks, this is for you.

stay084, posted on March 29, 2012

I thought this was a great class, and I've been to some of this teacher's classes in person. She helps people a lot! It is very different when you are recording for a yoga website though and isn't always a true reflection of the teacher though - yoginikaren...

anamaria1972, posted on March 27, 2012

Your practice is good, but you speak too much and too fast

YoginiKaren, posted on March 15, 2012

The definition I was given (during my teacher training) for "gym yoga" was the teacher mostly concerned with his/her own practice and less about what was happening in the room. Yes, it was challenging, but at what cost? She ignored all but a few people as she continued her "seduction-style" slinky moves clearly more into herself and the camera than anyone else. I loved her sweet Anusara background and would really love to see her re-record this session assisting people and show her caring instead of talking about it.

montlake, posted on February 23, 2012

I am so used to classes that are not challenging me. I found myself thinking "Oh no!" - It was such a challenge for me, but this is what I am looking for. At the end we were in full body prostration, and she said to move to child's pose. I though, "Oy! I can't move." I was happy to see others in the class hesitating to move into child's pose. The commentary is nice - interesting and fun. This is a great class.
