An unspoken connection forms between two elderly neighbors who share a daily ritual... but have never met in person.

Albert and Marta, both in their late seventies, live across from each other in a lively neighborhood in Berlin-Mitte. Every day at nine in the morning, the two neighbors meet, each at their own window, to watch the world unfold beneath them.
