The Ancient Burial of Egypt

The Ancient Burial of Egypt

More Details

Robert Schoch, Ph.D., contends that the 12,000-year-old site of Göbekli Tepe in Turkey was intentionally buried at the end of the last Ice Age (9700 BCE). In Egypt, a similar phenomenon — first noted by his wife, Catherine Ulissey — may have occurred. Vast fields of mudbrick at sites like Hawara, Karnak, Kom Ombo, and Dendera defy conventional explanations.

Why were these sites buried, and by whom? What were they trying to preserve — or hide? Schoch explores the possibility that Egypt’s sacred sites were intentionally sealed off in deep antiquity, with later pharaohs staking claim to the remnants of Zep Tepi, “the first time.”
