Andrew Collins reveals that beneath Giza’s second pyramid lies what may be a vast megastructure newly detected by a team of Italian academics using satellite-based SAR technology.
Reconstructions based on raw satellite data show eight vertical shafts with spiraling pathways that join two huge cubic chambers at their base. Previous satellite imagery going back to 2007 shows that this complex might well be linked to an enormous underground cave system rediscovered and explored for the first time by Andrew Collins in 2008.
