The state of our economy is shaky, but this can be a time of opportunity for the ascent of humanity. Charles Eisenstein, author of Sacred Economics, explains that the old agreements, which founded our current economy, no longer resonate with the consciousness emerging on Earth. We tend to look for solutions that are too simplistic for the complex problems that we are trying to solve. This results in blaming a “bad guy” for all of our problems, which is a symptom of deeper conditions. Rather than focusing entirely on the problems, he offers a vision which makes use of principles from gifting economies and time banking, as a bridge to a future economy that works for all.
