Peter Brook on Meetings with Remarkable Men
Acclaimed film and theater director Peter Brook speaks about his decision to revisit his epic film Meetings with Remarkable Men more than 30 years after its original release.
He tells the story of how he came to make the film in the first place, the reaction to it, and why he chose to make his new director’s cut so many years later. Most fascinatingly, he explains what was supposed to be accomplished by the film, and how he hopes the newer release will come closer to achieving that aim.
