Ancient legends from all over world tell the story of the “hollow earth,” the subterranean world of Agartha, a dense network of underground galleries and tunnels whose capital is Shambhala. It is said that this kingdom disappeared from the view of common mortals when the degree of pureness of its dwellers reached the subtle, divine dimension.
It is a place sought by farsighted conquerors such as Alexander the Great and hideous dictators, such as Adolf Hitler. It was visited by mystics like the 6th Panchen Lama and by Jesus in his so-called “lost years.”
This documentary takes us on a journey through the Western Himalayas, introducing us to the stories of the people who inhabit those places where the legend is still alive and to the witness accounts of the French astral chronicler Anne Givaudan.
