July 1996, TWA Flight 800 took off from JFK International Airport in New York. Twelve minutes later it plunged into the Atlantic Ocean as flaming wreckage. Eyewitness reports of a missile striking the airliner matched the investigators’ initial speculation of terrorist involvement. However, a deeper analysis reveals a horrific comedy of errors and a major cover-up operation. In December of 1997, after receiving material from a whistleblower within the Flight 800 investigation James and his wife were arrested for conspiracy to obtain forensic evidence of a solid fuel missile strike and have it tested.
