Whether you're at home or planning a day out, a snack plate or a packed snack box is always a hit with the littles. At the moment, Hugo's favorite snack selection includes celery sticks and apple slices dipped into a tahini and maple sauce along with some sultanas and activated tamari almonds.
A dipping sauce is a great way to add extra flavor and to encourage your kids to snack on raw veggie sticks and fruit slices! When it comes to sauces, the options are endless and you can be as creative as you want. Some other great ideas include: nut butter, hummus, cashew cheese, yogurt-based sauces or homemade dips.
