Dr. Elisabeth Targ, from the California Pacific Medical Center, discusses the psychic and spiritual side of healing. She loks at the impact of a spiritual lifestyle, spiritual practices and spiritual techniques from the perspective of a researcher.

The Institute for Health & Healing is set up for healing and personal growth. There are two components to the center: healing that is done by gifted healers, and people who are ill who are involved in support groups for self healing.

Dr. Targ created a program in which Individuals can participate in personal exploration or a personal practice to work toward a more spiritual form of inner healing. During the program, she studies and is amazed by the dramatic effects that spiritual healing has on recovery from illness.
