Wouldn’t it be great if you could work out your brain like you work out your body? Well why not? The brain can be exercised like any other muscle in the body. Neurofeedback trains the brain to balance itself and to self-regulate. In this interview, originally webcast on August 21, 2014, Dr. Sigfried Othmer, who has been involved in the development of the research-grade instrumentation for EEG feedback since 1987, explains how you can exercise your brain using neurofeedback.
Since 1985, Dr. Siegfried Othmer has been involved with neurofeedback as part of the brain-training of his son for seizure disorder. This training was life-transforming for his son and has directed his professional life to the development of neurofeedback as well as to the promotion of its public acceptance. He currently provides training for professionals in EEG biofeedback, and presents research findings in professional forums.
