The Taj Mahal is one of the greatest monuments in history. It is a testament of enduring love and an icon of Indian heritage. Though it has been largely remained untouched by centuries of conflict and environmental disasters, it now faces a new danger. Pollution has begun to destroy the Taj Mahal and one man is determined to save it.

We meet Mahesh Chander Mehta who was trained as a lawyer is now using his training as an environmental activist. We learn of MC Mehta’s 14 year legal battle with the Indian Government and factory owners. He shares, with us, his experiences and footage of his passionate quest to get a reduction in overall pollution, improvement in the people’s health and essentially, saving everything. In fact, his work to save the Taj Mahal was just the beginning of his successful environmental activism.
