To intrepid mountaineers, few pinnacles offered the treacherous challenges commanded by “The Cigar,” found in the foothills of the Pyrenees in Northern Spain. “The Cigar” is placed among three groups of tremendous rock towers known as Los Mallas de Riglos (The Mallets of Riglos), some with peaks in excess of 1,000 feet above the valley floor.
