A simple technique to make a smoothie bowl super thick and creamy. It's perfect for kids after school and even for us big kids!
Serves: 2
Ingredients
(use organic ingredients where possible)
FOR THE DRAGON FRUIT AND BANANA BOWL
- 2 frozen bananas, roughly chopped
- ½ frozen dragon fruit
- 1 tbsp black currants
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
FOR THE TROPICAL SMOOTHIE BOWL
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 mango, chopped
- 1 tbsp sunflower seed
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
FOR THE BANANA AND ALMOND BUTTER BOWL
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coconut sugar ( optional )
- 1 tbsp pistachios
- 1 tsp black sesame seeds
- Salt
Directions
- Add the ingredients to your blender and blend until thick and creamy.
- Transfer to a bowl and garnish with the toppings of your choice.
- Serve and enjoy!
