Alvarado and many other brave women are fighting against the judgment of society, by helping each other attain plant medicines by overcoming the government and organized crime.

Through a series of testimonies including her own stories of her son’s struggles, Alvarado gives us access to lawyers, doctors and brave women fighting from different fronts to legalize the medical use of cannabis in Mexico.
