Turia Pitt is a superhero who has overcome challenges far tougher than any of us could imagine. At age 24, while competing in an ultramarathon in the Australian outback, an already grueling task, she was caught in a wildfire. With no escape, she faced burns on 65% of her body.

In this exclusive extended interview from Transcendence Season 2, the mining engineer, athlete, motivational speaker, author, and mother, talks about how she was faced with two choices when she woke up in hospital after the fires — but really there was only one way forward. Through her incredible experiences and her endless achievements, Turia shares how she overcame adversity through the power of her mind.
