Hi there!
Fantastic practice, I love and enjoy your classes.
Can you explain about the "Cupping of the hands", I don't understand why is it important.
To the best of my knowledge we are always trying to use every part of the hand in Down Dog or poses where our hands are on the ground.
Dan.

Hi Dan,

We're so glad you're enjoying Yoga Every Day!

"Cupping the hands" during table or downward facing dog can help distribute your weight to avoid pressure on the wrists or to engage different muscles in your arms and back. However, I would always recommend listening to your body and practicing the pose however feels best to you!

Thank you for practicing with Gaia :)
