Everyday Yoga: Elements (Preview)

Welcome to this series on the Elements. In this journey, we explore the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda through the lens of yoga, connecting to the five great elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether—as portals to balance, awareness, and inspiration. These elements are not just outside of us in nature; they are within us, woven into our bodies, breath, emotions, and thoughts. When we move with the qualities of each element, we’re not just stretching or strengthening—we’re attuning ourselves to the deeper rhythms of life. • Earth reminds us to ground. • Water teaches us to flow. • Fire helps us transform. • Air offers movement and lightness. • Ether invites space and stillness. By dedicating time to each of these energies, we cultivate greater harmony between mind, body, and spirit—and begin to understand how to nourish ourselves more intuitively, on and off the mat. Each class in this series is a 20-minute exploration of one element’s essence—its feeling, its power, and how it shows up in your body. You might notice shifts in your energy, emotions, or mindset. That’s part of the practice. Enter each session with curiosity. Notice how these elemental energies move through you—and where you may want to invite more balance, strength, or freedom.
