In order to turn our foundation into flotation, we first need to build our foundation. This first segment is about 20 minutes dedicated simply to cultivating a core that will give our peacock pose the strength, confidence and courage to eventually take flight. Many of you have asked for a core sequence from Andrea that you could add to other practices, and this will definitely work for that too. Be mindful of lower back issues as you work deeply into the abdominal muscles. Take breaks as often as you need to, you can do this anytime and build upon it as you go. That will create real strength without injury.
