Take your regular oatmeal to a whole new level of deliciousness and nutrition. Serve with your favorite nut milk and sweetener, and pack with healthy fruit like bananas!
Serves: 4
Ingredients
(use organic where possible)
- 1 litre water
- Fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2-inch cinnamon stick
- ΒΌ cup sultanas
- 2 cups oats (steel cut)
- Pinch of salt
- 3 bananas, sliced
Directions
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a pot.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Mix in the oats and salt.
- Stir constantly for 4-6 minutes.
- Add the bananas and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve with your favorite nut milk and sweetener.
